Anna Silk
Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on January 31, 1974. She is best known as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the earliest moments of her life, including taking part in rehearsals of plays. Silk made several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999, and during the next decade, she moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married in a civil ceremony in the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk made the decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013and had a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron is her second baby boy, who was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is known for her television role as Cassidy Holland, in Being Erica. In 2009, she was nominated by for the Gemini Awards. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character in the succubus. Silk revealed to fans the joyous announcement that she became pregnant on the set of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was presented by Showcase in an exclusive Season Three show held January 6, 2013, prior to the series' premiere. Silk tweeted on June 20th that the show was coming back to production. Season Four debuted on the 4th of June 2013 and was produced by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Her portrayal of Bo together with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers who are identical on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its prominence on social media has grown to a huge online following.
